Scientific Research at KUB

THE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF BUSINESS has in its structure 8 departments for both respective faculties and the College for higher professional studies, in order to achieve several objectives:

Coordinating the teaching and research activity in respect of the authority and personal and professional integrity of the academic staff;
Encouraging all research and scientific initiatives of the academic staff in order to develop the profile of the institution;
Creating a lively and active synergy with specialized research organizations, inside and outside the country;
The materialization of cooperation efforts in the field of scientific research at the international level;
The evolution of scientific research, being in line with the requirements of the time;
Determining priorities in the field of scientific research and guaranteeing the future of research;
Encouraging the staff, within the framework of continuous qualification, to participate in national conferences and
international.

Engagement of KUB staff

Also, the academic staff of KUB is constantly committed to follow the scientific qualification levels,
to be involved in scientific research work in function of the learning process and for the benefit of the economy
country. Some of them are part of some national scale research projects funded by the organization
international such as EU, World Bank, USAID, UNDP, GIZ, etc. In addition, they are also engaged with
scientific work through research and publications such as:

Publications in scientific journals at home and abroad;
Scientific conferences organized by KUB or other institutions inside and outside the country;
Educational and scientific textbook publications.

Our commitment

KUB is committed to creating all the necessary conditions for the development of scientific research, by
including infrastructure preparation and academic staff training. To achieve this objective, KUB has
invested and is continuously investing in several directions such as:

Staff training and necessary human resources through investment for continuous professional and pedagogical qualification. This is made possible through staff engagement in conferences, trainings, post-graduate and doctoral studies, specializations inside and outside the country;
The establishment of scientific infrastructure where scientific research can be carried out. Currently, KUB has a library with a significant number of volumes, academic and scientific texts published by prestigious publishing houses as well as international scientific journals.
