On 29-31 October 2024, the third joint meeting of the CO-HOST project partners took place in Portugal. The meeting included representatives from the Project Coordinator, Egina srl (Italy), and representatives from the partners ReadLab, Art&Skills, ECQ European Center for Quality, NGO CTRL, University College of Business, Universum College, Korce Vocational Technical School, and the Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo. The purpose of this meeting was to present the activities conducted in 2024 and to prepare the partners from the Western Balkan countries for the first phase of developing student and teacher mobility with partners from European Union countries at the beginning of 2025. For each work package (WP 1 – WP5), the project coordinator provided a summary of the activities developed within them.

Notably, according to the results of the project’s Internal Evaluation Report, over 92% of respondents expressed satisfaction with the progress of its implementation, as well as with the methods and channels used for communication and cooperation between partners and vocational secondary schools (VET) involved in its implementation. The MOOC platform for training vocational school teachers in the hospitality and tourism profile, led by experts from EU countries, received maximum ratings from all teachers from the Western Balkan countries surveyed at the end of the training module.

The partners will continue to develop webinars, virtual exchanges, and multiplier events according to the project’s activity calendar. The fourth physical meeting of CO-HOST partners will take place at the end of 2025 during the final conference for the evaluation and closure of this project, near the premises of the University College of Business in Tirana.
