PROFESSIONAL TRAINING For: Professional Training in Personal Data Protection Data Protection Officer (DPO)
University College of Business (UCB), as a higher education institution, also focuses on providing professional training in various fields of importance to professions in Albania.
Through a bilateral agreement with the Commissioner for the Right to Information and Protection of Personal Data, UCB is authorized to provide professional training for the qualification of Data Protection Officers.
UCB is pleased to announce the opening of the next group for this important training programme, which is increasingly in demand in both public administration and the private sector.
Training Structure
The training takes place over two sessions (two weeks):
Week One
Professional Training in Personal Data Protection
Week Two
Data Protection Officer (DPO)

This training programme has been developed in collaboration with international experts and fully complies with the requirements of Albanian legislation and European Union directives on Personal Data Protection.
The programme aims to prepare qualified specialists to perform the role of Data Protection Officer in public institutions and private businesses.
To proceed to the Data Protection Officer programme, successful completion of the Professional Training in Personal Data Protection is mandatory.
Certification
Certificates are awarded for both levels of training:
- Certificate in Professional Training in Personal Data Protection
- Data Protection Officer (DPO) Certificate
