The University College of Business (UCB), as a Higher Education Institution, is also focused on providing professional training in various fields of importance for professions in Albania. Through a bilateral agreement with the Commissioner for the Right to Information and Personal Data Protection, UCB is authorized to offer professional training for the preparation of Data Protection Officers.
UCB is pleased to announce the opening of the next group for this important and increasingly in-demand training by public administration and the private sector.
Training Structure
The training is conducted in two sessions (2 weeks):

Professional Training for Personal Data Protection
Week 2
Personal Data Protection Officer (DPO)

This training program has been designed in cooperation with international experts and is fully aligned with the requirements of Albanian legislation and European Union directives on Personal Data Protection.
The program aims to prepare qualified specialists who will perform the function of Data Protection Officer in public institutions and private businesses.
Who is this training mandatory for?
For every public or private entity that processes personal data, including: state administration, universities, hospitals, banks, police, insurance agencies, postal services, commercial companies, notary and law offices, real estate agencies, municipal authorities and units, private and public schools, hotels and tourism agencies, community centers and NGOs, training centers, IT and data management services, media portals and digital platforms, audit and accounting offices, bailiff offices, embassies and foreign representations, as well as legal and business consultancy services, etc.
Note:
To proceed to the Data Protection Officer (DPO) program, is mandatory to successfully complete the Professional Training for Personal Data Protection.
