The University College of Business (UCB) announces a vacancy for the following position: Human Resources Officer
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the continuous updating of academic and administrative staff records in the institution’s database
- Assist in identifying and recruiting new candidates who meet the academic and administrative needs of the university
- Research training opportunities, seminars, conferences, and professional events that contribute to staff development and align with the institution’s objectives
- Prepare regular reports for the Human Resources Office and other management offices as required – Address staff concerns with supervisors when necessary
- Follow up on staff requests and coordinate their resolution with the relevant administrative structures.
Manage employee separation procedures, ensuring that all required documentation and information are completed for the proper termination of employment
Assist in organizing and communicating internal staff training activities
Accurately record staff attendance and absences in the official format and submit them to management
Manage the procurement and distribution of office supplies for academic and administrative staff
Coordinate the application and approval process for annual staff leave
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Previous experience in Human Resources
- Excellent command of the English language
- Preferred age: over 30 years.
Excellent communication skills and strong professional ethics.
Proactive, resourceful, and able to contribute innovative ideas.
Strong knowledge of employment legislation and labor relations
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail
