The CO-Host project aims to enhance the professional training of both teachers and students in the field of hospitality and tourism. This project involves 10 partners, including 3 from the Western Balkans: Albania, Kosovo, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Albania, the project partners are the University College of Business (UCB) and the Fan Noli Korçë School. The EU countries where the mobility activities will take place include Italy, Greece, Portugal, and Bulgaria.
The University College of Business has signed cooperation agreements with 4 additional partners who have joined the project to support its implementation:
• Shkolla Teknike Ekonomike Tiranë
• Kolin Gjoka Lezhë
• Shkolla Tregtare Vlorë
• ISAB (Institute of Studies and Application in Business)
Following the successful completion of teacher training through the MOOC online platform developed by hospitality and tourism experts from the EU partner countries, teachers and students will participate in a two-week mobility period for students and a five-day mobility period for teachers.
Two mobility periods have been scheduled for 2025: one in February in Italy and another in June in Bulgaria.
Vocational schools are invited to form an Evaluation Committee and select 5 students who will express interest in participating in the mobility program in February 2025.
The agreed selection criteria between the partners and the project coordinator are as follows:
• Students must be over 18 years of age.
• Students must have a good level of English.
• Students must be enrolled in a study program in Hospitality-Tourism or a similar field.
• Students must demonstrate willingness and responsibility during the training period.
The material titled “Call – WBL Experiences Abroad for VET Learners” provides an overview of the mobility groups (15 students + 2 teachers), where the mobility will take place, an introduction to EGINA, and the criteria for selecting students.
The “Application Forms to the Call to Italy, Foligno” document contains the application form for students and teachers who wish to express their interest in participating in this mobility program.
The deadline for accepting applications is November 1, 2024.
