Call for applications for Erasmus + scholarships for UCB students at University of Cadiz, Spain

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, the International Credit Mobility component, signed between the University of Cadiz, Spain and the University College of Business for the period 2021-2027, open call for application for Master students  at the Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Law and Political Science for the second semester, academic year 2023-2024, as follows:

At the end of the mobility, the students will continue their studies at their home university, in this case at “University College of Business”. They will not pay any tuition fees at the host university (University of Cadiz), but will continue to pay the fees applicable at their home university (UCB).

Number of scholarships :

·       2-3 scholarships

The possibility of realizing the scholarship is the Spring Semester 2023 – 2024 according to a Program scheduled by the University of Cadiz.

Selection criteria: (in order of importance)

1.     Academic performance, average grade of studies over 8.5

2.     Good knowledge of the Spanish language is at least equivalent to the B1 , given that the daily language spoken during the study period will be in Spanish.

The University of Cadiz can conduct an interview with you via Skype to evaluate your knowledge of a foreign language.

The necessary documents in this first phase for the application are:

1.     The application form

2.     Motivational letter

The Student Mobility Agreement for studying[1]. (this Agreement will be completed in the second phase only by the selected winning students)

2.     The selection of students will be made according to The Regulation for the Implementation of Inter-institutional Agreements in the Framework of the Erasmus + KA107 International Credit Mobility Program

4.     Winning candidates will be notified on their email address

5.     Candidates have the right to appeal against the decision of the ad-hoc committee to the Rector within 5 days of receiving the notification.

6.            In the second phase, before the start of the mobility, the successful candidates will complete a document called Learning Agreement (Agreement between the applying student and the home university, where the courses and corresponding credits are predetermined according to the criterion of the minimum number of credits for the courses that the student will follow during the semester at the host university, which will be recognized in completion and following studies at the home university).

Documentation to be submitted by 27/10/2023.

ATTENTION: The student must choose those subjects at the host university, which he would attend at UCB during the semester in which the mobility will be carried out. Students who apply for mobility will take full responsibility for not selected credits due to changes in study programs between UCB and the host university.
