As part of the ongoing cooperation with the Municipality of Berat on projects funded by AKKSHI, and under the supervision of the Berat Education Office, a workshop was held on the topic: “From Classroom to Profession and Career – How to Strengthen the Connection Between Higher Education and Pre-University Education.”
This activity was organized as an invitation for discussion and collaboration, aiming to identify and strengthen the bridges of cooperation between the two levels of education, in line with the National Education Strategies 2030.
In their presentations, Professors Enis Fita, Shpëtim Cami, and Ardi Bezo emphasized the importance of this cooperation in improving the quality of education, advancing the Third Mission of Universities, Open Science, Innovation, and supporting young talents.
The workshop focused on the positive experiences achieved so far, as well as the contributions and benefits for all stakeholders, from pupils and students to the level of national policymaking.
Special emphasis was placed on the support provided by UCB throughout all phases of the Science Festival at its three levels of development, from school-level competitions to the regional directorate level.
UCB will continue to remain a strong supporter of pre-university education in the future through the enrichment and maintenance of laboratories and libraries, as well as through support for the Science Festival and young talents.
Representatives of pre-university education, officials from the Local Education Office, and academic staff participated in the workshop.
UCB expresses its gratitude and appreciation to the organizers and participants, while reaffirming its commitment to being a long-term and sustainable partner of pre-university education and local self-government.
