The third edition of the University Law Competition, organized by the Halimi Foundation Institute and supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Albania, took place at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Tirana (Criminal Chamber). This competition brought together outstanding students from Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia. The televised debates before a highly qualified professional jury posed an extraordinary challenge for the teams, in which the University College of Business (UCB) impressed with its performance.
The competition unfolded in four rounds, during which each participating university team conducted legal research and presented arguments on judicial practices within the criminal and civil justice systems of Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia, as well as on relevant case law from the European Court of Human Rights.
The KUB representative team consisted of outstanding fifth-year Criminal Law students:
Klea Olive
Rosalinda Hida
Alkida Rada
The team was mentored by Dr. Bajram Ibraj, Coordinator of the Integrated Second-Level Master’s Program in Law.
Their two months of intensive preparation—coinciding with their internship at the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction in Tirana—demonstrated the group’s professionalism and strong commitment to represent their university with excellence.
Success in other competitions!
