Details

An open lecture entitled “How to Develop the Skills to Search for and Find a Job” was held at University College of Business (UCB) for first-year students enrolled in the Higher Assistant and Hospitality-Tourism programmes at the Faculty of Applied and Professional Studies.

During the meeting, students had the opportunity to discuss with Suada Hawa, a representative of the National Employment and Skills Agency (AKPA), the methods and opportunities available to help them prepare for entering the labour market.

The lecture addressed topics related to job searching, professional training, employment opportunities, and the services offered by AKPA to young people. Students also had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the challenges they face when looking for a job, as well as the importance of developing the skills required by today’s labour market.

The activity aimed to help students better navigate employment opportunities by providing them with valuable information on how to search for and find a job, as well as how to take their first steps towards their professional careers.
