As part of the Month of Literature, the University College of Business hosted an open lecture with the Director of the National Center for Book and Reading, Ms. Alda Bardhyli, together with students and academic staff of UCB.
The event created a unique atmosphere of reflection on the role of reading, academic literature, and the development of critical thinking among students. The discussion offered inspiring perspectives and encouraged young people to engage more deeply in cultural and academic life.
During the activity, a cooperation agreement was also signed between UCB and the National Center for Book and Reading, establishing a new bridge between higher education and the promotion of literary culture.
The agreement includes:
- Engagement of human resources in organizing activities such as book promotions, open lectures, trainings, and seminars;
- Development of practical training opportunities for students;
- Drafting and implementation of projects of mutual interest;
- Participation as partners in public activities;
- Promotion and support of scientific research;
- Roundtables and discussions for the public presentation of academic work.
Prof. Dr. Ylber Bezo, Rector of UCB, expressed his satisfaction with this important collaboration, describing it as a concrete step toward strengthening the culture of reading and the role of the university as a center of knowledge and thought.
