As part of the Erasmus+ program, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Sciences, Prof. Dr. Vjollca Bakiu, and Dr. Matilda Gjoni, Vice Dean and Head of Department at the Faculty of Economics, Law and Social Sciences, participated in the “International Academic Week” organized in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
During this international academic week, participants had the opportunity to attend conferences, workshops, study visits, and intercultural activities focused on artificial intelligence, digital transformation, innovation, higher education, and international cooperation.
The program offered discussions and presentations on the most current topics in technology and modern education, including the use of artificial intelligence in higher education, the impact of technology on economic and social development, digital security, ethics in the use of AI, as well as the importance of creativity and international collaboration during times of global challenges. Participants also visited innovation and creativity centers in Ljubljana, where they became closely acquainted with modern practices in entrepreneurship and technological development.
This experience represented a highly valuable opportunity for the exchange of academic and professional experiences, the establishment of new international contacts, and the strengthening of cooperation with partner universities and institutions from different countries. Participation in this activity contributed to professional and academic development, as well as to the dignified promotion of our university in an international environment.
