The University College of Business (UCB) carried out an academic visit to Atatürk University in Erzurum, Türkiye, as part of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Programme.
As part of the Erasmus+ programme, Dr. Shpëtim Çami and MSc. Petrit Demiraj, academic staff members of UCB, participated in a several-day mobility visit aimed at exchanging academic experiences and strengthening inter-institutional cooperation.
The visit began with an official welcome from the Office of International Relations and the Erasmus+ Office, which had prepared a comprehensive agenda of meetings with the university’s academic leadership and staff.
The primary focus of the visit was to explore the organization and operation of two-year professional higher education programmes. During their stay, the UCB representatives became familiar with the study programmes, laboratories, academic facilities, and best practices in the professional education and training of students.
One of the highlights of the visit was the tour of DAYTAM – the High Technology Applications Research Center, one of the leading research centres in Eastern Türkiye.
During the meetings, MSc. Petrit Demiraj and Dr. Shpëtim Çami presented the academic structure, study programmes, and recent developments at the University College of Business. The Turkish counterparts expressed strong interest in visiting UCB and collaborating on joint scientific projects and publications, laying the foundation for a long-term partnership between the two institutions.
This mobility further demonstrates the University College of Business’s commitment to internationalization, the exchange of best practices, and the expansion of academic partnerships through the Erasmus+ Programme.
