The University College of Business (UCB) announces openings for academic staff positions for the academic year 2026–2027 within the College of Higher Professional Studies (KSLP). Applications are invited for the following positions:
I. Academic Positions by Category
1. Full-Time Academic Staff (with PhD / Doctor of Sciences Degree)
Open Positions:
- Electrical Engineering or related fields (3 Positions)
- Information Technology or related fields (1 Position)
- Mechanical Engineering or related fields (1 Position)
- Hospitality Management (1 Position)
Minimum Criteria:
- Hold a PhD (“Doctor of Sciences”) degree in the relevant academic field.
- Possess teaching experience in higher education, as well as professional and/or research experience in the respective profile.
- Demonstrate the capability to design and deliver lectures, seminars, laboratory sessions, and practical projects.
- Contribute actively to scientific research and publications.
2. Full-Time Assistant Lecturers
Open Positions:
- Electrical Engineering (2 Positions)
- Information Technology or related fields (2 Positions)
- Mechanical Engineering or related fields (1 Position)
Minimum Criteria:
- Hold a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree or be in the advanced stages of doctoral (PhD) studies.
- Possess teaching experience in higher education.
- Have an overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of above 8.0/10 for university studies.
- Possess relevant professional and/or research experience.
- Demonstrate the capability to conduct practical exercises and laboratory sessions.
II. General Candidate Requirements
Candidates must meet the following general criteria:
- Hold Albanian citizenship or possess valid legal residency status.
- Have full legal capacity to act and be fit for work.
- Meet the required educational standards and possess the necessary professional capabilities for the position.
- Have no prior criminal record (by a final court decision) and must not be subject to ongoing criminal investigations.
- Have no history of disciplinary dismissal from prior employment for serious misconduct.
- Be knowledgeable of and adhere to the legislation governing higher education in Albania.
III. Application Dossier

- Notarized photocopies of diplomas, transcripts, and academic degrees/titles;
- Certified evidence of foreign language proficiency;

- Proof of academic and professional experience;
- A comprehensive list of scientific publications and supporting documentation verifying compliance with the application requirements.
